We form the present perfect simple with have/has + past participle.
Affirmative:
I/you/we/they + have+ V3
He/She/It + has+ V3
Negative:
I/you/we/they + have not+ V3
He/She/It + has not + V3
Question:
Have you/we/they/you/ i V3?
Has he/she/it V3?
Some verbs are 'regular' ; other verbs are 'irregular':
Work- worked live- lived
stop- stopped
Irregular:
come- come
be- been
Sentences with the present perfect always connect the past and the present:
We use the present perfect to talk about something which started in the past and continues up to the present.
Examples:
She has worked in İstanbul for 8 months (= she still works in İstanbul)
Aysegul and Serkan have been married for one year(= They are still married)
We also use the present perfect tense when the result of a past action is connected to the present.
Someone has broken the window.(= The window is now broken.)
We cleaned the room.(= The room is now clean.)
